Roy Orbison
Roy Kelton Orbison (Vernon, 23 de abril de 1936 – Hendersonville, Tennessee, 6 de diciembre de 1988), apodado «The Big O» y conocido como «Lefty Wilbury» durante su participación en los Traveling Wilburys, fue un influyente cantante y compositor estadounidense de rock and roll, cuya carrera se extendió a lo largo de más de cuatro décadas. Hacia mediados de los sesenta, Orbison fue internacionalmente reconocido por sus baladas sobre amores perdidos, por sus melodías rítmicamente avanzadas, su rango vocal de tres octavas, sus características gafas oscuras y un ocasional uso del falsete, tipificado en canciones como "Only the Lonely", "Oh, Pretty Woman" y "Crying".
